Pricing
Pricing and fees
Rizq Rasan will keep 5% of each sale. There's no sign-up fee and no monthly charge, and NGOs pay the listing price with nothing added on top.
Rizq Rasan keeps 5% of the listing price. The vendor keeps 95%, before any tax withheld by law.
The 5% includes services tax and is rounded down to the whole rupee, in the vendor's favour. Out of it we pay the payment gateway's fees on normal sales.
Worked example
Worked example: a Rs 10,000 claim
An NGO claims a listing priced at Rs 10,000. Because the price can be at most half of retail, the same food would sell for at least Rs 20,000 in the shop.
The NGO pays Rs 10,000 when it claims. After pickup, the vendor receives Rs 9,500 and Rizq Rasan keeps Rs 500. The gateway's fee comes out of our Rs 500, not out of the vendor's share.
The vendor's Rs 9,500 is before any tax the law requires us to withhold. If tax is withheld, it's shown line by line on the vendor's statement.
Our share is always rounded down. On a Rs 1,250 listing, for example: NGO pays Rs 1,250 · Vendor receives Rs 1,188 · Rizq Rasan Rs 62.

- Rs 10,000
- Vendor receives

Fees
Fees
No sign-up or monthly fees
Joining is free for businesses and NGOs. There's no sign-up fee and no monthly charge. Rizq Rasan earns its 5% only when a listing is sold.
We pay the gateway fees
The payment gateway charges a fee on every payment. On normal sales Rizq Rasan pays it out of the 5%, so it never comes out of the vendor's share or adds to the NGO's price.
Gateways keep their fee when a payment is refunded, so whoever caused a refund bears that fee. The refund table below shows who that is.
Tax shown line by line
If the law requires us to withhold tax from a vendor's share, we deduct it and show it on the vendor's statement. Every payout comes with a tax invoice for our commission.
During the pilot in January 2027, NGOs will pay vendors directly and Rizq Rasan will charge no commission. The 5% starts once payments move onto the platform.
Payment methods
How NGOs will pay
NGOs will pay when they claim, on the payment gateway PayFast's own page or in their banking app. Bank and wallet details never reach Rizq Rasan's servers.
Raast Default
Approve a payment request in your own banking app, or scan a QR code. The money arrives in seconds, well inside the payment deadline.
JazzCash or Easypaisa
Pay from a JazzCash or Easypaisa wallet, through PayFast. This is the second choice at checkout.
Cards later
Cards come in Phase 2, after launch. They cost about three times as much as Raast, bring chargebacks that can arrive up to 240 days later, and most NGOs pay from bank accounts anyway.
No cash at pickup
Paying when you claim is what holds the food for you and protects vendors from no-shows. We can't confirm a cash payment or give a proper receipt for it, so cash is never taken at the counter.
- Payment deadline
- 30 minutes after claiming, or 15 minutes before pickup ends if that comes first
- If you don't pay in time
- The food goes back to other organisations
- Who can pay
- Up to 3 people the NGO names, each sent a pay link by email and WhatsApp
- Receipts
- Always in the organisation's name, even if someone pays from their own wallet
Over-the-counter vouchers and Easypaisa shop payments aren't offered, because they take days to clear and food can't wait that long.
Listing prices
Minimum and maximum price
Every listing is priced between Rs 1,000 and half of what the food would sell for in the shop. The vendor gets part of its cost back, and the NGO never pays more than half of retail.
Small orders take the same checking and support time as big ones, which is why listings start at Rs 1,000. We'll recheck the minimum once the payment gateway confirms its fees in writing.
Each listing is one batch of food, sold whole to one NGO. Splitting a listing between NGOs comes later, in Phase 2.
- Lowest listing price
- Rs 1,000
- Highest listing price
- 50% of retail value
- How listings are sold
- Whole, to one NGO
- Commission
- 5%, services tax included
Payouts
When vendors get paid
Rizq Rasan will pay vendors every Monday and Thursday by bank transfer. Our promise is payment within 6 working days of pickup.
-
Pickup
The NGO's collector gives the 4-digit pickup code at your counter, and your staff confirm the handover.
-
Order completed
The NGO confirms it received everything, or 24 hours pass with no problem reported.
-
Money settles
The payment gateway settles the money into Rizq Rasan's collections account, which is kept apart from company money.
-
Payout
Your share goes out in the next Monday or Thursday run, with a statement listing every order.
How payouts are kept safe
- Payouts go only to a bank account in your business's name.
- One person on our team prepares each payout run and a second approves it, so no one can move money alone.
- If an order is under dispute, only that order waits. Your other orders are paid as normal.
- Each statement lists every order, our commission, any tax withheld and the bank reference.
- If an NGO doesn't turn up, you're still paid for the food once the no-show is confirmed.
If you change your payout bank account, payouts pause for 48 hours, and we email the business owner to let them know.
Refunds
Refunds
Each case is written down in advance, so both sides know where they stand before anything goes wrong.

| Vendor hands over less than listed | The missing share, automatically | Reduced in proportion | Vendor |
| Vendor closed or food not ready | 100% | Not charged | Vendor |

| NGO doesn't turn up, or cancels later than that | Nothing | Charged | Nobody extra. The vendor is paid |
| Payment arrives after the hold ended and the food went to someone else | 100%, automatically | Not charged | Rizq Rasan |
| Duplicate or failed payment | 100%, automatically | Not charged | Rizq Rasan |
Problems are reported within 24 hours of pickup. We acknowledge every dispute within 4 working hours and decide it within 48 hours, or within 24 hours if it's about food safety. A no-show also gives the NGO a strike.
FAQ
Questions about paying and getting paid
How do NGOs pay?
By Raast, approving the payment in your own banking app, or by JazzCash or Easypaisa wallet, through the payment gateway PayFast. Card payments come later.
Why can't we pay cash at pickup?
Paying when you claim protects vendors from no-shows and lets the food be held for you. It also means we never handle cash, and every payment gets a proper receipt.
How long do we have to pay?
Thirty minutes from claiming, or until 15 minutes before pickup ends if that comes first. If you don't pay in time, the food goes back to other organisations.
When do we get a refund?
You get a full refund if the vendor cancels, is closed, or the food is unsafe at pickup, and a refund for anything missing if the vendor hands over less than listed. If you cancel at least 60 minutes before pickup starts, you get a full refund too. See the Payments and Refunds policy for every case.
Does Rizq Rasan store our bank or wallet details?
No. You pay on PayFast's own page or in your bank's app. Our servers never see your bank or wallet details.
