رزق رسان

From surplus to sustenance.

Rizq Rasan will connect Islamabad's restaurants, bakeries and grocers that have good food left at the end of the day with verified NGOs that feed people. Vendors recover part of their cost, NGOs pay no more than half of retail, and the food gets eaten instead of thrown away.

How it will work

Three steps on each side

Businesses list what's left. NGOs claim it, pay, and collect it with a pickup code. Rizq Rasan checks everyone, holds the payment and pays the business twice a week.

  1. List what's left

Snap a photo, set a recovery price and a pickup window. It takes under a minute on your phone.

  2. An NGO claims and pays

A verified NGO nearby claims it and pays straight away. You get a WhatsApp message to get the food ready.

  3. Hand over and get paid

Type the NGO's 4-digit pickup code at the counter. Your 95%, before any tax withheld by law, goes out in the first Monday or Thursday payout after the order is completed and the payment has settled.

Every listing

Everything an NGO needs to decide in one look

Listings will be visible only to approved organisations, never on this public site. Each one shows the same facts in the same place.

A fair price

At least Rs 1,000 and never more than half of what the food sells for in the shop.

A pickup window

At least 30 minutes long, ending well before the food's safe-until time.

Safe until

The vendor states when the food stops being safe, within limits set for each kind of food.

What's in it

A real photo, the quantity, and the vendor's halal and allergen declaration.

Safety and trust

Built so both sides can rely on it

Selling food, rather than giving it away, means food laws apply in full. So the rules are strict from day one.

Everyone is verified

Businesses show their registration, NTN and Islamabad Food Authority licence. NGOs show their registration and who signs for them.

Food has time limits

Each kind of food has a limit on how long it can be listed. No raw meat, poultry or fish, no home-cooked food, no plate leftovers.

Pickup codes

Food is handed over only when the NGO's driver gives the right 4-digit code at the counter.

Money is held safely

NGOs pay when they claim. The business is paid after pickup, and every refund case is written down in advance.

Vendors keep 95%, before tax withheld by law.

There's no sign-up fee and no monthly charge. Rizq Rasan keeps 5% of each sale and pays the payment gateway's fees out of that.

FAQ

Questions people ask first

Who can list food on Rizq Rasan?

Restaurants, bakeries, grocers and cafes in Islamabad with an NTN and an Islamabad Food Authority licence. Restaurants and cafes also need their Department of Tourist Services registration. We check every business before it can list.

Which organisations can join?

Registered NGOs, shelters, community kitchens and food banks that feed people. We accept registration under the ICT Charities Act, the Societies Registration Act, the ICT Trust Act, Section 42 of the Companies Act, or the Voluntary Social Welfare Agencies Ordinance.

Why isn't the food free?

A small recovery price covers the vendor's packing and handover time, which keeps them listing food instead of throwing it away. Prices are capped at half of retail value, so you always save at least 50%.

How do NGOs pay?

By Raast, approving the payment in your own banking app, or by JazzCash or Easypaisa wallet, through the payment gateway PayFast. Card payments come later.

How do you keep the food safe?

Every category has a time limit, cooked food can spend at most 2 hours at room temperature, and we start with low-risk food such as bread, bakery, produce and packaged goods. Vendors must hold a food licence, and collectors check the food before taking it.
